Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your tour guide and driver who will take you on a scenic drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. On the way, you will visit the Tachog Lhakhang, a temple built in the 15th century and cross the ancient iron chain bridge. After reaching Thimphu, you will check into your hotel and take some rest. In the evening, you will visit the National Memorial Chorten and join the locals in circumambulating the monument. You will spend the night in Thimphu.

Our journey from Thimphu to Punakha takes us through the scenic Dochula Pass, standing at an elevation of 3100m. Here, we visit the 108 stupas built by the Queen Mother in memory of fallen Bhutanese and Indian soldiers. On clear days, the pass offers stunning views of the surrounding forests and the snow-capped Himalayan Mountains.

Descending to Punakha Valley at 1200m, we explore the majestic Punakha Dzong, a masterpiece of Bhutanese architecture located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. The dzong served as the country's capital for centuries and now houses sacred relics and is the winter residence of Bhutan's monastic body.

In the afternoon, we visit Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, a stunning 30-meter-high stupa gifted by Bhutan's third Queen Mother to bring peace and harmony. Returning to Thimphu via Dochula Pass, we visit Druk Wangyel Lhakhang, a monastery built for the well-being of our leaders, kings, and people.

Finally, we take a short nature walk to a tranquil spot where we can meditate and appreciate the serene atmosphere. Back in Thimphu, we have the evening to explore the city.

Our day begins with a visit to Kuenselphodrang Nature Park, where we will see the magnificent Buddha Point, home to one of the world's largest Buddha Shakyamuni statues. The statue was built with the aim of spreading peace and happiness globally. We will also explore the Folk HeritageMuseum in Kawajangsa, which is dedicated to preserving Bhutan's rich folk heritage and rural history through exhibits, educational programs, and documentation.

Later in the day, we will visit the National Library and the National Institute for Zorig Choesum, where we will learn about the 13 Traditional Arts of Bhutan. We will also visit Bhutan's textile museum to witness the traditional art of weaving and colorful Bhutanese dresses, and the farmer's market to explore organic foods grown in the country.

After lunch, we will head to Paro Valley, where we will visit Paro Rinpung Dzong, an impressive example of 15th century Bhutanese architecture that now serves as the local government center of Paro. We will also visit the nearby 塔宗, converted into the National Museum of Bhutan in 1968, which displays various antiques, art, textiles, weapons, and household items providing a glimpse into Bhutan's captivating history.

In the evening, we will learn about the significance and history of the famous Tiger's Nest (Taktsang) after a brief talk, which will be followed by dinner.

Today, we will embark on an auspicious pilgrimage to one of Bhutan's most revered monuments - the Taktshang Goemba, also known as the "Tiger's Nest". This sacred monastery sits perched on a cliff face 900 meters above the valley floor and offers breathtaking views. The hike to the monastery takes about four to five hours, but mules and donkeys are available to help make the climb easier. Once we reach the top, we can offer prayers and participate in a guided meditation session.

In the evening, we will explore the town of Paro and buy souvenirs for our loved ones, family, and friends from Bhutan.

After breakfast, we will drive to the Paro International Airport for your departure flight. We extend our well wishes for a safe and enjoyable journey and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to reunite with you in Druk Yul - a captivating land of infinite wonder! Tashi Delek!

FAQS

印度国民的 SDF(出示有效的印度护照或选民身份证)为 Nu。
